Missing in Church
There used to be a discussion on why men don’t attend Christian churches in the same rate as
women historically. At one time it seems to have mattered. Now. No one seems to really care anymore.
It has become “common knowledge” that the church in the United States, especially the African
American church, is a place made for, ran and supported by the female. I’m sure everyone has an
opinion of why but it seems that no one asks the ones who have decided that it is no longer for them their

in many places. Is it the logicality of male mind? Primitive territorial marking etched into years of
evolutionary design? Factors can go on into the infinity. Yet the finality speaks for itself. Stats could be
given ad naseua. Looking around should be enough to convince the most zealous sceptic. They are gone
and have been missing for decades. More buildings go up, and the business of some grow into empires.
Concurrently the vultures have surrounded and are waiting for the carcass to lose its last breath. I’m not
here to say whether it should or shouldn’t. Bias has been removed and replaced with apathy.
I’m done.
